OBJECTIVES

The program
is designed :

To provide a balance
of professional and general education and |

a student become professional pharmacy practitioner who
self - directed and responsible citizen. |
Graduates of the program
are prepared for beginning level positions in community and institutional
industrial service; and have the foundation for continuing professional
development and for post - graduate study in pharmacy.
Through
planned guided experience, students are provided with opportunities
to develop :

broad concept of fundamental principals of pharmacy care
based on sound knowledge and satisfactory level of skill
in providing care to people of all ages in a community or
institutional setting. |

of the application of the principles from the Physical,
Biological, social, and behavioral sciences for assessing

Ability
to investigate the health care problems systematically.

to work collaboratively with members of allied discipline
towards attaining optimum health for all members of the

Understanding
of principles of teaching and their application to the work
of pharmacist. |

ELIGIBILITY :

/ PDC /HSC / 10 + 2, any group with 45% in Physics, Chemistry,
Biology. |

Male
/ Female candidates with good conduct and sound health between
the age of 17 to 35 years are eligible. |
| 3 |
Physical
fitness must be ensured by certification from a registered
medical practitioner. |

General
Knowledge of English is essential. |
