The Department of Chemistry offers instruction
in three different specialization, namely, Inorganic, Physical
and Organic Chemistry and many of them pursuing research work
in industries, national institutes and in Universities, national
institutes and in Universities in India and Abroad.

major areas of research include structural studies, reaction
Kinetics, theoretical chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry,
electrochemistry including corrosion, soil - water chemistry,
peptide chemistry and medicinal chemistry. |
| Eligibility: |
Any
recognised three years 'Degree, with 50% marks in all the
subjects, Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry as one of the subjects.
