The Couse With advancement of technology and need of understanding various diseases of internal parts of the body and its treatment, the role of technologist in radiological examination & Interventional procedures became inevitable in health care. A qualified medical technologist is skilled in both interventional and diagnostic radiology. The technologist specialize in handling various diagnostic equipments like X rays, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound , PET Scan, Nuclear Medicine and etc. The technologist is also a member of oncology team in providing radiotherapy for patients suffering from tumor/cancer.
Imaging technology as a profession calls for considerable technological expertise. Goutham understands this and provide in depth theoretical and practical foundation that will enable them to develop core competencies to function as an expert imaging technologist. The college also provides supervised clinical training of different diagnostic procedures and interventional methods relevant to the profession at various reputed hospital settings in Bangalore.
